Should women know how to nick menstrual sick leaves?

I definitely believe in equality contained by the work place, but I think there are areas for exception. I go to work today, bloated, in pain, and finally departed after vomiting twice. Of the 4 hours I spent at work, I doubt I did a solid 15 minutes of work. You would not expect anyone with food poisoning like symptoms (nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea ) regardless of sex to come surrounded by. So why is it that women like myself end up using adjectives their sick leave on their period, and wind up up coming in, or losing pay on the days they might suffer (not menstruation related) or hospitalized? Is this actually fair?

*Men, I don't even want to hear comments in the region of blue balls or anything to that extent. You deserve the day stale too if once per month you were kicked in the bubble so severely that you're vomiting, and suffering abdominal pain for 3 days straight.*

Answers:    OMG u are totally right its totally not fair. idk why they do it but i totally agree near ya!!.
I hear you. When I go to school on the first afternoon of my period I feel similar to complete crap. I can't focus on anything and the teachers hassle you for wanting to go to the nurse's bureau. And then things get so much better when you jump to gym and you find out you have to run 2 miles for a grade. I judge girls should be allowed 2 days off per month and not have it count against them. Guys don't know how lucky they hold it. Not really as there are medications that will comfort you with it (birth control pill/etc).

I'm a woman and I think its silly. I have horrible cramps, bloating, etc just as you and I still say its silly.

If you cannot be paid it, call in a sick sunshine. But menstrual leave? NO WAY.

Try getting on birth control if they are that bad. And, unless you've tried ALL of them, and zilch at all works, then wow I get the impression for you..
Yeah of course they should. If you feel that you are incompetent to work then yeah you should be getting a sick day. But, this would be strong to do because, of people abusing the privilege
