Im 18 me and my boyfriend have been datin for just about 8 months and have been havin sex for nearly 7 of those months. And everytime i'm on my period and we have sex i own this very bad anguish and i have to stop. I was wonderin if this is common or if i should go to the doctor for it?

I guess there's no harm within going to the doctors just to make sure, but if it's simply during your period, i doubt it's anything unusual otherwise it would not be dependant on you being on your time or not. Maybe it's something to do with being a bit more sensitive, or you might want to use some lube while have sex on you period. I know it probably doesn't make much sense, but i find sex on a extent dryer than when i'm not. Something to do with the period blood not person as slimey and thick as normal discharge. sturdy to explain but true.
