I put on some weight and its made me bleed all month...but one and only lightly. I put on about 6lbs from it surrounded by a couple of weeks. If i go and ask to change to a different one will they permit me?

Im on microgynon 30. Is this strong?

Speaking as a doctor, of course he should and would consent to you. This is your call, m'am. I/we work for you. We offer suggestions, guidance and direction. But contained by the final analysis, it's really your call.

You want off the pill, freshly say so. I do hope you'll make alternate bc arrangements, unless you are looking to become pregnant.

You can also discuss "different pills" near your doctor, but the reason that you will want to consider this is really your bleeding. I don't believe or recommend moving back and forth on pill formulae because of solidity gain. If you're prone to gain weight on orals, you'll probably gain it with most of them. PLUS, immensity gain is a multi-faceted occurrence, there can be so much more involved than merely the specific pill you're taking.

So, if your goal is to avoid the weight gain issue, you probably will choose to be off the pill. If the bleeding is what you want to deal with, THEN you and your doc should explore other pills.

It's your result to come off the pill, not your doctor's!! However, if this is your first month on the pill, it is worth persevering for another 2 months to give it a clothed trial - many people seize irregular bleeding in the first month or so, but this generally settles down. Microgynon 30 is a everyday strength pill, not particularly strong, no.

this is normal for when you first start. i would walk off it but if you want to you defenitly can and if your doctor says NO YOUR NOT GETTING OFF THE PILL AHHH consequently he is a sycho and you should get a new doctor. unless you hold a desease u must take certian pills for ur doctor can't keep you from going bad or on birth control.

if you want to change prescriptions, than you doctor has to do it. Microgynon 30 easily increases your appitite, so that explains why you've gained weight.

You should see your doctor and explain that you want to come off the pill. He/she will support you about how and when.
