My mother maid me get the birth control shot. How long does it take to become affective? Because i have sex without protection five days after getting the shot.. HELP

I personally gain no weight with the shot when I be on it. maybe I'm just lucky or own a fast metabolism, dont know. anyways I only have 3 shots. But it usually kicks in right away I give attention to youre suppsoed to get your first shot while youre on your period and I regard five days after is okay. But just call planned maternity and ask if youre worried they should tell you everything you need to know.
I consider it was smart and good of your mom to "make" you draw from the shot, she's def. aware of things.

Weird sentation while peein...?

well the shot...SUCKS!! your gonna gain tons of weight and ur gonna start person a rip to anyone and everyone..if your jaw starts hurting alot(wich i had) get stale of it..takes about one month for it to become forceful the first time u get it.but u go every 3 mos to return with it and the 2nd time and there after it works immediatly
