i enjoy had my period for 2 years similar to this! My mom and i have talked in the order of possibly getting on birth controll, but i have heard things that craft me nervous to get on it. any alternatives you wanna suguest?

oh btw i am NOT sexually influential, and have never been. I would not use that as a excuse any!

Answers:    I don't see what the problem is with wanting to take birth control to control, regulate, and make happen lighter and shorter periods, even though your young and not sexually busy. BC really helped me, since I was 14. I would be out of academy for a few days every month and it was a huge pain. Ibeprofin and Midol didn't really do what I expected for me. But after a month or two of BC my time went from 10 days max to 3-4 days max, to 2-3 days after a few years. Their shorter, lighter, and I rarely, RARELY have need of medicine for cramps anymore. I think birth control is a swell thought.

There aren't really any 'BAD' things that come from BC. but then again, I don't know what you've heard. .
Midol is terrifically good to control all that, i use it adjectives the time.
I used to be on birth control (pill) and that got rid of all my pms symptoms, and it made my interval more regular and lighter, however it is hormones, and if ur not sexually active is probably not necessary, and midol should be purely fine, although that wont help you with the flow :/. If it is too much to operate with, i guess you can talk to your mom and your doctor to try out the birth control for a few months to see how you do, my friends used to nick it just to regulate their periods even though they be not sexually active. I'm on birth control for my periods and it help allot. I have cystic ovaries so i didn't have to own my vagina poked around.

but you can go to your doctor and ask about it.

I'm on Yasmin And it help so much. My periods barley hurt anymore and i can actually do point normal.

you mgiht want to get an ultrasound too to see whats cause it.
midol, pamprin or ibuprophen.
they are all for cramps.
excersising helps too, and tampons can sometimes form it worse so if it does that to you then i would suggest to use pads if they are that discouraging. also drink some tea and have a hot bath,
when your done purely relax and put a hot water bottle on your lower stomach. :)

works everytime for me! feel better. :).
i've have bad cramps with period and i did notice after getting on birth control my periods be shorter/lighter/no cramps. my periods are only close to 3 days long and really light. before going on the pills i would own bad cramps and my period would closing 5-7 days with 2-3 opf the being strapping.

i say go for it.
if its making u consistency that sick and missing school u might as well hand over it a try...
There is no need to take birth control if your not have sex. Only if you are or your going to.

Every womans menstral cycle is diff. I have my heavy days where on earth i cant go anywhere and have to wear 2 pad!

Your fine! Just comes along with becoming a woman. Midol helps VERY MUCH when my spell is at its worst.
