But yes it is normal for your time to come later, depending on the pill you're taking.
I'm a Sunday start so my ending pill is on a Saturday. I don't usually start my period til approaching Tuesday? And like Tuesday at midnight or Wednesday morning.
Your body take time for it to realize (I guess is the right word) that you're not taking the hormone, because of the month of hormone that is already built up within your system at which time it has worn bad and you start your period.
So I would attribute your spell starting 4 days after your last pill because you started the pack during the middle of your interval and not at the beginning...

anytime you stop the pill for any length of time you are bound to start your period again because, when you are on the pill you are fooling your body into thinking you are pregnant, hence no time of year but as soon as you stop and it gets outta ur system adjectives of a sudden you are not "pregnant" anymore so therefore you procure your period stern again. thats why if you take the pill everyday you will solitary have a extent during the placebo pills. (the ones with no medication contained by them) and normally the doc tell you to start the monday after your period starts or the ultimate day of your extent so i would just hang on to taking them if you are not going to stop b/c everytime you stop you will have another spell and you will also increase your chances of getting pregnant
