Pregnant While On The Depo Shot?

I got my first depo shot on the tenth of July, and I haven't gotten my period. That be the first day of my period later month. My doctor told me I shouldn't stop getting my period until the second shot. Should I be worried?

Answers:    no you sholdn't worry.
your doctor be saying in common that your period won't stop coming until the second shot.
fortunetly your body adjusted against the clock to the shot so your period stopped coming on the first shot.
its different for each soul.
just like the pill some women find that it regulates them and get rid of their period symptoms in the first month and some find that it take up to 3 months to get their period regulated.
your doctor will report you it will take 3 months to become adjusted to the pill but later i only takes you a month in that is nothing wrong with that.
and nearby is nothing wrong with you adjust to the shot the first time.
you're fine. .
You are most likely fine but lets not mess around beside a possible pregnancy and Depo Provera. Go to the Dr. Write down all dates of everything so Dr. can do calculations-Date of second period, date of unprotected/failed protection sex, date of Depo shot.

You will need a blood oral exam to find out if you are pregnant. The OTC ones won't work if you are pregnant on Depo. If you are pregnant you will need medical advice on how the Depo Provera could affect the babys growth and nouns. You may be advised to consider a termination.

But I hope you are okay!.
no, a lot of women don't get hold of one single period while on the shot. I have be on it for nine months and have not had ONE, although I WAS nursing within the beginning too, but I think this is without fault normal with the shot. Here's a caution though, I spotted for the first four or five months I was on it. good employment getting on depo. that is sarcasm. it is terrible. it fu.c.ked me up and ive be off of it for a year and a half. no sex drive. its gone. my nurse also told me she get pregnant on it while she was giving me the shot. it is supposed to stop your period and it did, so its working. but it works different for everyone so don't be surprised if your foot fall off or something awful resembling that..
Sounds like your just adjust. If you want peace at mind take a test, but i really don't deem you have anything to worry more or less. Sometimes you will start late, durring my first cycle of the pill, i was going on for a week past when i normally started. :D

Good luck hun!.
There should not be anything to be worrying nearly. But you can checked to make sure your not pregnant. When i started the shot i never had another interval after i got my first one. Don't worry. Your body is probably still adjust to the shot.. Just wait another week or so If you still don't get it... beckon your dr.
