Well there are some girls that accidentaly break theirs by falling or it only just breaks on its own, and of course there is other sex that breaks it. I'm not sure why it would be easier to use a tampon after it is torn, all hymens have a hole contained by it to begin with, so menstruation can turn out before intercourse, tampons will fit threw this hole.
