I have been have horrible burning pains going up my ribs then down my shoulder to my muscle at the top of my arm ever since i was surrounded by labor. It is very painful. I enjoy been looking for possible side effects to some of the things i was given during labor and havent found any such side effects. I be induced on june 13, 2008 with cytotec and then cervidil. I did not receive an epidural but i did win a shot of nubaine. I dont know if anyone knows of back discomfort being a side effect of any of these drugs or has experienced this. Any answers would relief. I am going to my follow up appt. soon and will say something to my doctor but it isnt for another two weeks...

Answers:    You might have pulled a muscle, it could be heaps things. My best advice is to go to a Chiropractor in a minute. You will get so much relief. I didn't believe they could comfort and I was talked into going to one, I am a believer in a minute.
