Went off the patch a little over a month ago...get my period right away...then a week up to that time I was expecting it again, had some terrifically light spotting (brown & only for a afternoon - NOT typical). I also had some cramping with that. Period never come, although a lot of discharge did (clear). I am over a week late & preg. test have all be negative. Anybody else have this situation going past its sell-by date the patch?

Answers:    You will experience some irregular periods going off of any birth control. If you are sure you are not pregnant, this seem to be fairly normal. Have you stopped using the Patch adjectives together? If you have, you can expect your periods to any be really irregular or even missing some months, until about the third or fourth cycle - this is the same as going ON birth control.

If you're not convinced near the pregnancy tests, or you're still worried, call your doctor.
