I got a Mirena IUC insert March 31st and the process was painfree then that day i started having cramps which is typical and bleeding. My concern is ever since i got this IUC i have be bleeding on and off. Its embrassing because i never know when i am going to start to bleed. One time at work i started bleeding and i had no clue i be until i went to use the restroom and i was full of blood and my shift purely started.. I know it wasnt my period!! What can i do about this bad and on bleeding that is occuring and has this appear to you before? I really DO NOT like wearing pad. I wear tampons but wearing them everyday is not good for our bodies? When will this bleeding stop?

What happen when.?

Irregular and unpredictable bleeding is normal for the first three months on Mirena. When I have mine, it only took about one month for things to regulate. For immediately, you could try wearing really thin pantyliners in defence of unexpected bleeding, and keep tampons handy contained by your purse.
I know it's pain right now, but the bleeding will stop and later you'll have five years of awesome birth control!
