Hey I am pregnant now and due in past due October. Ive been thinking about the sympathetic of birth control I want to use after the baby is born and have seriously thought give or take a few getting an IUC. My question is how long after birth can they give you an IUC? I would imagine its when you heal completely but I dont know for sure so I figured Id ask to see if anyone on here know off the top of their head. Thanks!

Answers:    When you walk for your six week check up after giving birth, unless your nursing, if your nursing they may not put you on anything until your done. But seriously they tell you no sex for six weeks, wait that time, if you can't use a condom.
