That is an absolute myth. Girls and youthful women continue to grow ( all over) into their rash 20's. If there is an actual stop in growth for a 16 year matured, then it could be due to exercising too much or under ingestion / being underweight. In such case, a doctor should be the one to pass advice. But anyone that told you girls stop growing at 16 is a complete and udder liar.
