Is anyone using Mirena for birth control?
Answers: I had mine inserted at my 6 week postpartum, and that was over 2 years ago. I love it!
It is the most influential birth control on the market. It also has the lowest doses of any hormonal birth control available. They are usually isolated to the uterus, so nearby is not many side effects. It is safe to use while breastfeeding for that tremendously reason.
I had some cramping and spotting right after insertion, but that just lasted a few days. I haven't had a single length since then (that happens near approx. 20% of all users, the rest notice shorter and lighter periods). I do still identify a cycle with some very hurricane lantern pms symptoms, but no flow. I love it.
The only issue we had be with the strings, and it only last a month. The strings are a lot like fishing smudge when it is first inserted. My husband got poked a few times (nothing bad, but it did carry his attention). Eventually they soften and wind around your cervix. No problems after that. In certainty, I found I could tuck them up with my fingers before sex until they softened. That took caution of the problem.
I am including a link to the site. Feel free to email me with any question..
Actually I had one for about a month and I have it taken out for a month and what a relief. When he put it in that be horrible pain for me. It cause me some dull pain, cramping, I was bleeding even more. Before period I get acne and blisters in my mouth never had any of it since! I could feel it when having sex, and my boyfriend did too.
If I be you I would research more about it :]

I have have mine for almost 2 years and it works very well. The solely side effect I had was a few cramps at first. It does not hurt you freshly cramp for the first day or two. I don't even have period any more. I wish I had know in the order of it sooner I would have gotten mine a long time ago. It's amazing! When I had mine inserted, I have like some light cramping during the procedure, it be just fine. I made sure to tell my gyno to transmit me what she was doing and when to expect a little cramp. It took close to 5 minutes and was great! I took like 3 pamprin right since I went in, pain-free while I be putting my pants back on!.
