I've been on the birth control pill for a year and am on the system where I filch the pill for three weeks, and then go rotten for one week. I've alwys had regular periods during the "off" week. Recently I have unprotected sex on the last day of my pill and presently my period is a day overdue. I paniced and also took the morning after pill, which still fell within the 72 hour timeline. Am I just mortal too paranoid??

Answers:    Yep, too paranoid.

You are protected the entire month by birth control, even the week of the "inactive pills". Birth control makes your term lighter and shorter so its very common to not start your time on the first day of the inactive pills. Sometimes mine doesn't see in until Thursday.
