If i'm going on birth control...
Answers: Depends on where you go.
If you shift to Planned Parenthood, they won't make you take an exam.
If you're visit your family doctor, yes. If you're not a virgin that's okay.
And your doctor can't tell if you're a virgin or not by simply an exam unless you're pregnant, or have an STD.
Exams are good, because they can explain to if you have cervical cancer, or an infection, or anything else wrong.
Don't freak, exams are good for your strength, they just want you to be healthy..
If you shift to planned parenthood they won't give you an exam. It's call a "hope visit" I believe. They will go over birth control options and digit out which is best for you and take a brief medical history and then endow with you a prescription. These visits will cost you about $50 depending on the clinic. If you walk to your regular doctor you will need an exam but it will most likely be free if you enjoy insurance. It's best to just get the exam. If you ask, your doctor can bring you a smaller speculum which might make you more comfortable. Its not a big deal. If you are a virgin and you stir on the pill they will not do a pap (I assume that this is the exam you are talking about). But if you are sexually active it is a fitting idea to get one. Then again when I first get on it the nurse was an idiot and decided that I be lying and told my doctor that I wasn't a virgin and to give me the exam.
Unless you are over 21 then you do.
if your worried aboout the exam, (i be, i had my first exam last month and im 22!) dont verbs. its NOT bthat bad, only approaching 2 minutes, and your done. doctors are NOT allowed to tell ur mom, its a confidentiality agreement they have beside patients. Yes they will not put you on birth control without one. and its best you do tell your gyno they wont notify your mom their not allowed..
yes you have to hold a pap smear in order to find ne type of birth contro; Yes, you still have to have an exam.
