I may enjoy to own a hysterectomy surrounded by a couple weeks. What support can you share next to me from experiance?
Answers: I have mine over 15 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did! I made dinners up ahead of time and put them within the freezer so they could just be popped in the micro. Keep an rime bag handy and also a pillow. You'll be asked to cough a lot after the surgery and holding a pillow over your incision make it a lot less itchy. If you have to use stairs to get to your bedroom, plan to sleep on the couch. Give yourself almost 6 weeks to totally recover. Good luck to you!.
are you having the abdominal surgery or laparoscopic/vaginal? the abdominal route will pilfer more time to recover from, and you'll be uncomfortable for approx 2-3 weeks, but the aching should be controlled by prescription painkillers. you will want to lie on a surface that is not too soft; most women find that lay on a firmer matress eases some of the discomfort that may feel after the surgery (although thats recurrently due to preference; a softer mattress wont hurt you). try to get up and meander around as much as possible within the first 2 weeks to stave off blood clots and digestive twinge, and get plenty of rest. some women are able to catch up and continue their usual routines in as little as a week. polite luck!
