I hold started my term what do I do??

I'm 13 and I last night I realize I have started my period.
Tonight be much worse. I don't have pads and such and I'm afraid to put in the picture my mum cause either she is contained by a bad mood or my Dad or bro is with her.
And that would be awkward.
So what do I do? I'm going to institution tomorrow and I'm doing what my Mum told me to do if I don't have pads. I'm using tissues. Which is fine but I really want my mum to know. But afraid of recounting her. HELP!

Answers:    Firstly congratulations, granted at the moment you probably don’t feel much like celebrate but your first period is something to celebrate. So bring up to date your mom not only that you have your period and want pads but also ask if you can do something to celebrate if the both of you haven’t already arranged something, possibly a sleep over or a day shopping.

Your mom will know that you were going to start your period around now, if she is in a discouraging mood then that is her problem, it shouldn’t stop her from listen and helping you if you tell her that you have gotten your interval – it’s a proud thing for mothers, telling her may cheer her up. Or if you hold a female friend or another family extremity like an aunt or friend of the family, try describing them and ask them to tell your mom for you.

An idea would be to appendage her a note, just write that you enjoy started your period, tell her that you want to use pad, maybe ask for other things you might need close to a little bag to convey them in, some clary sage to ease rotten cramps if you get them, calendar of your own to mark the days down, etc. report her whether or not you want to talk to her about it, and ask to do something special to red mark the day. The site http://www.debuinc.com is set-up for girls going through menarche (first period) and has some adjectives letter templates similar to this one http://www.debuinc.com/pdfs/Free%20Coupo... and other things you might find useful to help you report your mom. Just talk openly around it, the whole thing can quality embarrassing at first, but after a while it’s not embarrassing at adjectives to talk about, we adjectives go through menstruation and it is important to converse about it to learn more or less menstruation and feel better about it fairly than be ignorant of it and feel dismayed or ashamed about it.

You don't "NEED" pads, seriously of women use toilet paper or tissues for all their period, a lot of women use nothing at adjectives (that's called 'free-flow') or learn to recognise when they are going to bleed so they can agree to it out in the toilet. Pads may be best for you for now, better protection, but try going for natural pads or better still cloth pads or pad panties like Lunapads or Lunapanties http://www.lunapads.com as these are a lot cleaner, safer and more comfortable than commercial pad (the bleached ones with plastics such as Always), plus they look a lot cooler :o)

We adjectives go through this and it is perfectly common to be a little concerned about this alien thing happening to you and upset to tell your folks because of the way we are skilled to feel about menstruation – needlessly humiliated. But don’t worry about it, engineer sure your first period is a positive experience and I promise you it will set you up well for positive experiences of your period in the future.

Oh, and if you haven’t already immediately is a good time to check out all the menstrual option available to you, pads, cloth pads, pad panties, period belts, menstrual cups, sponges, tampons, Softcups, free-flow, etc. Different issues involved with menstruation, cram exactly what is happening in your body (Scarleteen http://www.scarleteen.com and Natracare http://natracare.com/help_for_schools/ma... are angelic for this) and so on.

Good luck and congratulations again :o).
if you have money 2 -lb3 go ans find a pack of pads. you sound hefty.

youll find a quiet time to tell your mum. and even if she is within a bad mood she will be delighted to know her little daughter have turned into a young woman! and so what if mum and bro are there! notify them 2 coz they will find out. it will make them realise you are more mature than they may deem!

please get a pad first and please report to your mum coz she may get anoyed 4 you not telling her!.
It's inborn for a girl to get their period. So what I did when I told my mom I have my period is I e-mailed her and said, mom I have my term. Or if she doesn't have an e- mail address you can write a memorandum. If you are embarrassed about the situation I would suggest writing a message or telling her by e-mail. But you really need to notify your mom sometime! And if your mom is one of those people that tell everyone everything that go on in your life, approaching my mom. ha-ha. Than you can just tell her to not let somebody know anyone. She'll probably understand. She went threw it and she be probably embarrassed too. But your mom would help you out and update you what you need and what you need to do. Hope I help!! :-) I know you say about your mom human being in a bad mood. But when she hear this she'll be ok with it. Call your mother to one side and say it to her. Also she must own some hanging around the place unless she uses tampons. You NEED pads. Your mom have been through this before she know how it feels honey!, So Don't be worried love. .
Never be afraid to talk to your mom. yes, it will quality weird and awkward at first. Maybe just way of walking up to her and ask if you can talk to her...it's important. With your tone and confusion, she will know something is up. Or maybe write her a note, and relay her you started your period and need some pad. GL! you NEED to get pads.. and you HAVE to enlighten your parents
you shouldnt be afraid of telling her, theres nothing to be startled of
its a natural part of enthusiasm...but GET pads please.
Just get her aside and enunciate its important.

Don't worry, she probably be embarressed when she asked her mum. She probably might be over the moon your a grown up girl now lol.
tell your mom. she's going to find out eventually. and she can back you with any personal questions you might own. you need pads or tampons because the tissue is not going to hold up too capably. Just start crying and tell her.
