my friends teenaged daughter has like a mole type entity on her outer labia, she's had it for some while now and never thought anything of it...is it usual and should she go to the doctor? or do any of you know what it is? could it be removed?

if your really worried about it move about to the doctor, it's better to be safe then sorry and yes mole can be removed.

For any mole look for the following things: ABCDE
Asymmetry-if one partly of the mole doesn't look like the other
Borders-that are ragged, notched, or enjoy blurred edges
Color- varying shades of tan, brown, black on one mole
Diameter- anything greater than 6mm or the size of a pencil eraser
Evolution- a change or growth of a mole
If she can say-so yes to any of the above descriptions she should have it looked at immediately. Otherwise she can probably hang about until her next routine checkup and have the doctor look at it. If it obligation further attention the doctor will refer her to a dermatologist.
As for your friends teenage daughter if she wants to hold it removed for a cosmetic reason, that is going to own to be her decision.

There is no harm getting it checked out only for the sake of it.

If it's nothing, at least she will know and if it is something she can receive it sorted out.
