How does birth control work?

Answers:

Yeast infection..?

Birth control pills are a synthetic form of the hormones progesterone and estrogen. They prevent ovulation by maintaining more consistent hormone levels. Without a culmination in estrogen, then, the ovary doesn't draw from the signal to release an egg. No egg means no possibility for fertilization and pregnancy. They also thicken cervical mucus so the sperm cannot reach the egg, and kind the lining of the uterus unreceptive to the implantation of a fertilized egg.

Some common minor side effects of birth control pills can include some mild nausea when first starting birth control pills, spotting or breakthrough bleeding, breast discomfort, mood changes, decreased sex drive, substance gain, cervical changes and vaginal discharge.

Some rare but serious side effects can include blood clots, abdominal strain, chest pain (also shortness of breath), headaches (especially those that are modern, severe, or associated with persistent dizziness, difficulty speaking, faint, numbness or weakness in extremities), eye problems (blurred trance or loss of vision), severe leg pain (and/or redness and swelling within the calf or thigh), high blood pressure, liver tumors, breast cancer risk or cervical cancer risk.

I would recommend that if you are thinking of starting to take the pill that you discuss it near your doctor, he/she will best be able to advise which type/brand of the pill will be relevant for you and discuss with you any side effects you might experience if starting birth control pills.

Good luck :)

Girls solitary please?

Birth control, the contraceptive pill, works when taken daily because it tricks your body into thinking its pregnant, and stops egg and sperm fertilising. This is most popular form of contraception and can be used for other problems such as to aid heavy periods, or desperate spots.

LADIES ONLY!! Do you use a DivaCup, MoonCup, or Keeper? (10 natural points)?

Birth control can suppress ovulation, thin out the lining of the uterus to prevent implantation, should an egg be fertilized, and thicken the mucous at the cervical entrance to prevent sperm from entering.

Songs to listen to when you enjoy a broken heart?

If taken correctly it surpresses ovulation. Since you are not releasing an egg you cannot become pregnant. Hope this help.
