So im going to be swimming today, and im on my interval. ive never used tampons past and im going soon?
any advice/suggestions
Answers: Sorry, but it is only a myth that the water will stop the blood. The hose down just washes away the blood so it looks approaching it stops. You have to wear a tampon if you want to get contained by the water..
Go to a pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc.) and get Gentle Glide Tampons. Or Pearl.
They are the easiest to use.
You'll relax and calmly insert the tampon into your vagina. Read the directions. It'll be easy once you try it a couple times. Sometimes, I use spit to moisten the tampon before trying to insert it (if you are premonition dry).
Otherwise, you should probably sit swimming out. .
Ok I don't know if i help or this only happen to me but just a week ago i was on my extent and i went to six flags [it's a water park too] and while i be in the water nought happened but when i got out and dried myself bad like 20 min later [maybe quicker i wasn't paying much attention :/] well i guess u know what happened subsequent? i knew my period be coming but i just didn't think it would come on six flags sunshine lol [:
yea i hope i helped I suggest you use a tampon or not go swimming. To not use anything would be unsanitary for everyone else that will be surrounded by the pool that day. You also might have a stain on your swim suite. .
Use o.b. tampons, they're made especially for beginners. They don't enjoy a plastic applicator so you just insert them with your finger. Check out the website.

lately wear a tampon, its safer, and on the back of the boxes they show you how to do it, so you'll be fine! its better to use a tampon or u can try this before going into the sea go under close to a shower at the beach or somthing and go beneath it and let it beat on yopur body for more or less 5 to 10 minutes .
do u have any tampons in the house??? if so it'd b a great model 2 use them.but if u really CAN'T use tampons and u really MUST go swimming, then only just wear dark colored shorts over ur bathing suit bottom. Use a tampon - would you want to swim in wet that someone else was bleeding in? Ewww..
use a tampon please.If its firm to put in maybe use some toddler oil idk? well if you haven't notice when you're in water close to in the shower or anything like that and you're on your term the blood doesn't come out. so when you're in the pool you won't bleed but most likely you will right when you bring back out. so you can do that, but its risky. so try a tampon. just get a plastic one, a placid glide, if its your first time because it will be easier to use. make sure you know how to use it too! when i be eleven i thought that when you use a tampon you just left the unharmed thing in. ha. so don't die of toxic shock or anything simply because you don't know how to wear a tampon. hahaha. good luck.
