I'm thinking of getting an implanon put in as I have simply finished breastfeeding my son. Am swapping from mini-pill, when do I get it put in? Any positve or unenthusiastic experiences??

Hi, i am on my third implanon now so i have have a bit of experience. You can get it put in at any stage of your cycle. I know some doctors recommend getting it put contained by on the last day of your time. If you put it in at any other time, they just recommend that you use another type of protection for the first 7 days.
I own had more positive than negative experiences beside the implanon. I will start with the negatives. With my first implanon I have a bit of irregular bleeding at the start, lasting around three months. Then my body adjusted and my length became regular. It was almost not noticeable, it was so oil lamp and only lasted 3 days respectively month. With my second implanon, i had no period for 2 years which be great. The negative with my first implanon be that when i had it for around 2 years, i started feeling a bit. blah. So i have it removed and gave my body a break for a couple of months. Then i had my second inserted. It be great for another 2 years. Then the same thing happen, so i had it removed. I have freshly had my third implanon put in, after have a baby also. I love them and will recommend them to anyone.
