my friend had a strange discharge and she took i t to her dr who sent it to get evaluated it turned out to be a polyp is it possible for this to surface I know polyps can be removed with surgery but on its own is this uncommon, she is extremely nervous and me for her.what can be the outcome of this?? dr told her it was a polyp but thats it she is planned for a followup at the end of the month.

My sister just have this done last month, the doctor did not give her any option except surgery. It was painless and took about 40 mins outpatient.
