Is it normal for a woman to experience bleeding after she has have sex for the first time, even if her hymen is already broken? I ask because I lost my virginity a couple of days ago to my boyfriend and we were both surprised to find bright red blood on the sheets and the condom afterwards. It was not flimsy but it was not a total pool either. The experience of intercourse be not painful, there be only some discomfort initially, and he was mean to be gentle with me. The bleeding stopped enormously quickly (almost immediately).

I have previously inserted tampons and fingers so the bleeding seem strange. Could having something larger 'up there' for the first time have cause tearing or chafing? I am currently on the pill but I am sure that it is NOT any kind of breakthrough bleeding that started coincidentally while we be having sex (my breakthrough bleeds are always brownish surrounded by colour anyway).

Friends hold told me that they experienced bleeding the first few times they had sex, until they got used to it, but dont verbs, practice makes perfect.

Luckily i never suffered any bleeding or dicomfort which is unusual.

That sounds without a flaw normal. The hymen is very stretchy so it might not enjoy been completely broken by using tampons or your fingers. Most people experience for a while bleeding the first time they have sex. If he was also using his fingers he might hold accidentally scratched your vulva or vagina. It's nothing to worry just about.
