Birth control and period and pregnancy?
I finish the pack on Saturdays but I don't get my period until Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
Is this common? and Most Importantly, Is it possible to get pregnant from Saturday when I end one pack, to the time that I start the subsequent pack on Sunday??
Answers: Yes, that's normal. It takes a couple of days for the residual hormones from the pills you took at the extension of the pack to decrease enough for your time to start.
As long as you follow the directions for finishing and starting a pack - you only take one week past its sell-by date, and you're not using one of the packs with placebo pills (you can detail if you are because there are enough pills for four weeks, not three) - you should be protected the entire time..
That's faultlessly normal. And as long as you're taking your pills correctly you are protected every time of the month, during the active and sitting pills. yes its normal..not everyone get their period during the inactive week..i usually start whenever i finish my inactive pills and start on my busy pills.
i dont think so
