Is it possible to miss a period while on the pill? I'm definitely not pregnant. I've be on the pill for about 5 years and never missed a period in the past. I've been very stressed and I also hold a thyroid problem that I'm taking medication for. Could that have caused my interval to not come? I had cramps all week but no length. I'm supposed to start a new pack of bc pills tomorrow. Should I wait another week and linger to see if I get my period or a short time ago go ahead and take them? Any direction would be appreciated.

It's impossible to miss a period on the pill because the periods on the pill are renunciation bleeds; not actual periods.

Call your doctor and ask him/her. In the meantime, continue to thieve your pills as scheduled until he/she tells you to stop or to use a different charitable.
