What am I doing wrong?

I am 13 and when i try and put a tampon in it lone goes almost half method up, i am using regular size with a plastic applicator

Answers:    Try the jr slim tampons made by Tampax, they are smaller so should be easier to insert until you acquire used to the technique. Make sure that when you insert them that you are going at about a 45 level angle towards your spine. Relax your muscles or you will just be aggression against yourself.
You might want to try a slimfit or light absorbancy to receive it a little easier. Also, when you're inserting the tampon, don't aim it straight up, aim more towards your support. That can often generate it easier to get it within all the instrument. I find I have to aim pretty much towards my lower spinal column to get it surrounded by properly. you just own to push it further in..use some Vaseline or Ky jelly on the tip of it and it will budge in better.
It sounds close to it could be the position your body is in when you are inserting it. Maybe try a different position, such as putting one leg up on the toilet form and try inserting in that path. On the phamplet that comes in the box near the tampons, it does have instructions beside different positions you can be in for easiest insertion. Hope that help! Try a smaller size.

And don't worry, when I first started using them, it be horrible.
And now I'm close to a pro. Lol.
Good luck.
You may be too young to use them.Ask a women that you trust.
