Ladies please minister to.. Period problems!?
Answers: I would recommend getting another evaluation, preferably from someone that does not share the same organization of the doctor you currently use. I would also recommend a consultation with an endocrinologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders that relate to hormones such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome-an example only) to see what they regard as could be going on.
If you're not having a itchy intercourse or abdominal pains it isn't an extreme problem. Unless you would rather hold your period every month, which I completely grasp if you do. It sounds to me like your hormone stratum is offset because of have your baby. My sister have the same problem. She basically went on birth control and it straightened right out. Then when she looked-for another baby, she only got bad birth control and was pregnant 2 months following. Clumps are normal too, a extent is just your uterine pool liner shedding. No biggy. Good luck hun.
