Tampons?

i know how to use them but im afraid i will get tss how can i prevent this?

Answers:    By wash your hands BEFORE and after inserting a tampon, and by varying tampons every few hours or so. But you would do that anyway.

I hate to see girls needlessly frightened by the possibility of TSS. It's a terribly rare disease, and you don't own to be wearing a tampon to get it. It's cause by a common strain of staph germs, and those bacteria are on surfaces everywhere. That's why handwashing is substantial, to clear away any bacteria you might hold picked up with your fingers. That approach it can't be tranferrred to the tampon and then into you.

But truly, you enjoy a better chance of conquering the lottery than coming down with TSS. So in recent times practice good hygiene and relax.
Make sure you evolution them every 3-4 hours as the boxes recommend. That's the best way to prevent TSS. Use the lowest absorbency and vary your tampon at least every 4 hours. Do not use them overnight even though it say you can use them for up to 8 hours, it is best to use them for a lesser amount of time.
Make sure you metamorphosis the tampon every 3-4 hours and that you are using one that is right for your flow. I hold been using them for 11 years and hold never had a problem. switch bad from tampons during day and pad during the night won't prevent it but give you better odds of not getting tss
