Is it a hernia cause by childbirth?

I have have a long lump going vertically in my stomach since I have my son naturally - 2 years ago. It's for a time above my belly button and stretches all the method to my ribs I figured it be just the muscle not formed together again however but now I am 5 months pregnant and it is still here. It's not very noticable when I am not doing anything but it is intensely noticable when I am getting up from laying down or if using stomach muscles at adjectives. I will ask the doc about it but a short time ago wanted an view before I turn in. THANKS FOR ANY HELP. (oh my friend mentioned that her husband have the same article and it is a hernia and can be caused by childbirth)

Answers:    Yes. I hold the same piece and just asked my doctor in the region of it. She said it was a hernia. I have my son naturally and know that it be caused by this. She said I could enjoy surgery to remove it but if it wasn't painful I'm better stale living with it because the surgery take a long time to recover from. Hope this help.
delivery is one of the prevailing causes of umbilical hernias contained by women. It's caused by the internal pressure when pushing the child out pushing some of your insides through a weak spot contained by your abdominal wall. make sure your Ob is aware of it.
