Answers: It's not fun, but definitely indispensable. The gyno has you on the table near your legs open while they stick some silver piece up your vagina. They check for all sorts of things, they check your breast for lumps etc.
You have need of a ob/gyn that you are comfortable with. If you are childlike, I am guessing you are, but it is a bit uncomfortable. If your Ob/Gyn is manly request a female nurse be present I believe within most states this is law. You may hold a breast exam and a pap smear. Depending on your age of course. Never be afraid to ask question. They have hear it all I am sure. A breast exam is zilch more than your ob/gyn feeling around your breast nouns checking for abnormalties. It is a painless test. A pap smear can be mortified. Be sure to relax. If you tense up it will be severely painful. Remember to breathe, close your eyes and envision yourself anywhere else . Do remember that even though it is uncomfortable it is especially important. Make sure that you know the closing day of your menstrual spell. They will want to chart this to make sure everything is conventional. This is when I got my pap-smear
First they asked me to spread out a sheet about my sexual movement. Then they weighed me, took my blood pressure, adjectives that stuff. Then they gave me a thesis robe thing and told me to run into the restroom and take sour all my clothes, but that I could depart from my shoes on. I also had to pee contained by a cup. Next I had to slump down on their little bed things and open my legs and she put jelly on this plastic article (some are metal) and put it inside my vagina, which was reallllllly humiliated. Then she got a qtip and stuck it inside my vagina and took sample. She also pressed down on my lower stomach. After that she made me sit up and show her my breasts. Then she made me lie subsidise down while she touched around my breasts. The whole time though, she's be not looking at them, she was purely looking at me and telling me how I can practice self-exams. After that she pinched on my nipples. Then she consent to me put my clothes back on and when I come back out she asked me if I have any questions and that be pretty much it.
I've been. Alot of OB-GYNs will not in reality look at you until you are 18, but then again some do. If you enjoy not had blood work done within the past year they will start past its sell-by date by making you pee in a cup, and they will draw blood. If they are going to look at you, you will lay on a bed and they are going to put your foot in stir-ups. Then they put this metal crank into your vagina, and they spread you start on a little. It's cold, but it doesn't hurt. Then he/she feel inside of you to make sure in that are no cysts on your ovaries and (s)he'll swab a Q-tip for testing if you are getting a pap smear done. He/she also feel your breast for lumps, and he/she will answer any questions you hold. Don't be nervous. It's a moment or two awkward at first, but it's over before you know it.
