Can you own a distrustful pap smear and endometriosis together?
Answers: Sure. The two conditions are totally unrelated.
A pap smear only checks for atypical (pre-cancerous) cells on the surface frontage and entrance of the cervix; endometriosis is the abnormal growth of the bin liner of the uterus OUTSIDE the uterine cavity (usually on the bladder, fallopian tubes, ovaries, outer wall of the uterus & bowel).
There is no external diagnostic test for endo; if it is severe adequate it can sometimes show up on an MRI, CT or ultrasound, but the only sure agency to diagnose & treat is via laporascope.
Of course you can. Having negative pap test, has zilch to to with endometriosis within most women.
