It happens to me, too. What sucks is that I've singular had I don`t know 5 periods within the past 3 years. I'm currently pregnant, and my son is almost two. I also breastfed for 11 months, which kept my length away for a little while.
The extra boost of pregnancy hormones have more than made up for it, though.
It is normal. Yes it's common and it's too bad your husband won't filch advantage of it. I never have sex during my period till I met my current boyfriend. He doesn't strictness about the mess, we only just lay out old tub towels and allow time for a shower afterward. I am SO much more responsive because everything is more sensitive. You don't know what your're missing.
