Why did I attain this?

After having my son 2 to three months after that I got these bumps on my inner thighs that seem to be molluscoum or something like that. I go to the doctor and I told her that I only hold one partner "my husband" and that these never happened since I asked her if it was and std she said no but why would I return with this and from what? It lasted roughly speaking 6 months to go away it wasn't rough or itchy just looked unsightly. It's been 2 years from that and It hasn't come back. Whats this from?

Molluscum contagiosum is cause by a virus that is a appendage of the poxvirus family. You can carry the infection in a quantity of different ways.

This is a common infection surrounded by children and occurs when a child comes into direct contact next to a lesion. It is frequently seen on the frontage, neck, armpit, arms, and hand but may occur anywhere on the body except the palms and soles.

The virus can spread through contact near contaminated objects, such as towels, clothing, or toys.

The virus also spreads by sexual contact. Early lesions on the genitalia may be mistaken for herpes or wart but, unlike herpes, these lesions are painless.Typically, the lesion of molluscum begin as a small, painless papule that may become raised up to a pearly, flesh-colored nodule. The papule habitually has a dimple within the center. These papules may occur surrounded by lines, where the individual has scratched. Scratching or other irritation cause the virus to spread in a queue or in groups, call crops.

The papules are about 2 - 5 millimeters huge. There is usually no inflammation and subsequently no redness unless you hold been digging or scratch at the lesions.

The skin lesion commonly have a central core or plug of white, cheesy or waxy matter.

In adults, the lesions are commonly see on the genitals, abdomen, and inner thigh
