Did anyone experience any side effects after taking thyroid pills?
Answers: Oh yes! I've been taking medication for 20 years now, and simply about half of that time have it been spot on. It can depend on how much activity your thyroid is producing (mine is none or remarkably little) so different circumstances make a difference eg. stress, my weight etc. A few years ago I be told I was taking too much (it was my prescribed dose), but I be having panic attacks, hot flushes etc. Then merely 2 months ago - was told i'm taking too little and became completely lethargic and slow. If it feels wrong, draw from another blood test to check, you know your own body better than anyone..
i don't get any side affects and be on them for just over a year now. would suggect going to see your gp even if they are solitary minor side affects.
the dose you are on might me to high or not enough. regular blood trial from your gp will keep an eye on this. my doses has changed twice since man on them. Aye my head fell off, my legs burst into flames, my foot turned blue and disintegrated, my hair fell out, my fingers all stuck together, I swallowed my tongue and have a terrible cough for a week. I wont be taking them again..
I haven't as of yet and I've be on them for 9 years now. Everyone is different though and can react to them contained by different ways. Talk to your doctor, your dosage might be too high or low.
No. I've been taking for over 11 years in a minute. If you don't take them you can go into a coma myxedema coma.
