patches of my hair is falling out, lost 17 lbs since October, my doctor done the integral blood work thing, focusing on thyroid mainly, everything be perfectly normal. be refered to dermatologist, I go this month. Anybody with any accepted wisdom, please!!

Well with the big weight loss within a small time, my guess is malnutrition of some sort. You really need a CT scan of your belly to make sure you don't have some sort of intestinal problem, especially since the bloodwork come back ok. Something is definitely wrong. I really don't suppose that a dermatologist will be able to do anything. You need an endocrinologist or a hematologist to rule out cancer.

Did he check for vitamin and mineral deficiencies? You might want to try have those checked.
