What is implantation bleeding?

Read a question where on earth someone answered with this?

Answers:    Here's what happen after conception: once fertilization occurs within the fallopian tubes, it spends 48-72 hrs. traveling down the tubes. Once it implants into the uterus, you could hold what is called completing bleeding. This blood is very hurricane lantern and sometimes mistaken for a period. It occur because the uterine tissue is irritated from the embryo and the irritation causes pallid bleeding. This normally occur at the time of your period. Here's why: You are commonly fertile around days 14-16 of your 28-day cycle. If you get pregnant at this time, you are in the region of 14 days (2 weeks) away from your period. By the time the embryo travels down the tubes and implant, you are near the time of your planned cycle. The implementation bleeding is lighter surrounded by nature and doesn't final long but is not an actual "period." Some women mistake this for one and never assume they are pregnant. Hope this help!
