I enjoy SPD and i want my toil induced. can i insist that i hold an induction at 38 weeks?

can the doctor say no to me? or is he grateful to do what i ask. as i am 32 weeks now and surrounded by tremendous pain. i also hold M.E. and am a single mother of a 2 year old already and involve to arrange a sitter.

Answers:    A doctor can decline your request. However, if you feel that it is noteworthy to have your labor induced, maybe you can have the physician who treats your SPD consult beside you pre-natal physician and explain why you are in an inconvenient situation.
He isn't in somebody`s debt to do what you would like (though I sometimes want it was the case) but he is in somebody`s debt to perform the best strictness he can give you. Tell him how much headache you are in, and conceivably he can reconsider. Also, possibly look into alternative pain nouns such as acupuncture, pre-natal massage, etc. Congratulations, by the road! I am not sure what SPD is but the dr knows at what week the babe can safely be born. My daughter be born at 40 weeks and my 2 sons were both born at 38 weeks. Just make conversation to your doctor. Thats what they are there for.Good Luck!!
I guess it would depend on how you handle your first labour. If you are contained by that much pain your OB should really be ready to listen to you. However, an induction doesn't always denote pain free any - if it's that bad you may want to consider a C-section. But any way, if your Doc should be feeling like to listen to your concerns.
