Why does my disappeared nipple itch?

Why does my left nipple itch? Only the nipple tip itches, and not the areola. I'm not pregnant nor am I breastfeeding. I've never be pregnant and have no opinion why this is occurring. Please help!

Answers:    It could be a short time ago dry from the weather so try using some good moisturizer. If that doesn't relieve, then it is possible to hold an internal infection in your glands. Perhaps you've have a cold, sometimes the mammary glads become infected much like the glands contained by your neck. If it continues to itch, shift to your physician, he'll most likely bequeath you antibiotics to clear it up. Good luck!
