If the doc told you NOT to drive for 2 weeks..?

What would happen if you drove an hour and an hour stern 1 Week after you had surgery?

I know someone who's particularly determined to not let their daughter to go against her appointment and very determined to risk her form to get her to the doctor. Even though the doc said "Don't Drive for 2 weeks!"

Answers:    My first choice is for her to phone call a cab to bring the girl to the appointment since none of her friends and/or relatives seem to be available from what you influence. But I understand this might be costly since it's a one hour drive.

My second choice is that she should appointment her own doctor and explain why she needs to attain her daughter to the appointment and ask his opinion on what she should do.

My third choice is that she phone call her daughter's doctor and discuss the situation with him/her and ask for suggestions as to how to grasp the daughter to her appointment.

Another option if they are church parishioners is to ask the church to find someone to appropriate the girl to the appointment.

A one hour drive is hard on the human body at a time similar to this, and so if the daughter is old satisfactory to go to the doctor's minus mom, it would be better for mom to not even ride along as passenger. Unfortunately, I don't know how old the daughter is.

Tell your friend to discuss beside the doctors or a church to find some service organization to assistance take the girl to the appointment. Remind your friend that, if she does this against her doctor's directions, she might harm herself so she won't know how to be there for her daughter next on as she might put herself back surrounded by the hospital. Her first responsibility is to take best effort of her own health so she can be in attendance to continue humanitarian for her daughter.
Cant someone else take her? I contemplate that it is clear..NO DRIVING FOR TWO WEEKS!
Well I dont know what she had but hopefully those relatives are aware that if something bad happen to their daughter or their daughter gets surrounded by an accident near another person because something go wrong when she wasnt supposed to be driving its all their criticize and they will have to live near that guilt. what is her doctors reasoning for not wanting her to drive??
No. They shouldn't drive. I think the one and only case within which she should drive is if there is a highest emergency It would probably be okay. Don't take stomach-ache killers previously you drive. They worry going on for you crashing because of taking the pain meds and they verbs that if you crash it could do damage because you are not heal up enough. It might be genus of rough if you had hindmost surgery, then it might be a doomed to failure idea. I drove a week after my hysterectomy, but solely up to the store and back.
There is a object a doctor has told her this. Why not set aside to take her daughter to her appointment so this female does not put her health within jeopardy. then don't drive for 2 weeks! if something where on earth to happen, close to a car wreck or something, the blame could be put on you!
depends on the type of surgery they could be exposing themselves to a natural life threatening infection, or may be in peril of passing out if they sit for long period. I would suggest you have your friend; christen a friend, to take her daughter to her appointment Then she should not drive until the train of the two weeks.if there is not a soul else to take her daughter to her appointment she could carry a neighbor to drive or she could call for public transportation.
Ah, Madam Butterfly, we run into again.

About 7 years ago, I had hernia surgery and the doctor said not to drive for at lowest possible a week, and I couldn't go to work for a month.

Every time I have to go to the store or to the doctor after that, I simply call my friends to help me out. One time that didn't objective too well because they be all at work. I have to call a minicab. sure, the cab fare be $20 round trip, but I still followed the doctor's rules.
