Try using playtex gentle soar. The are slick and they slide right into place. Just tell your mom you cant wear pad anymore because of gym class or something... what i did was asked my mom to bear me to a free clinic or family doctor(they arent allowed to speak to your parents about anything that go on in the room) and ask the doctor what you can do.. try plastic not cardboard...

try a plastic applicator, they work a great deal easier and make sure your relaxed, sometimes if you overexcited up it wont go contained by (idk y). explain to your mom you want to use tampons and you dont like pad, if she doesnt have a problem next to your sister using it she shouldnt have a problem near you. (idk how old you ladies are, or how far apart you are within age.) There are different brands.
Some have an applicator and some don't.
The ones beside applicators range from plastic applicators to cardboard applicators.
Plastic applicators close to "pearl:" are good for beginners, they enjoy instructions in the box and are glib to learn how to use.
Cardboard applicators are a bit smooth on the outside, but the ends tend to be a bit dry for beginners, and the restroom machines tend dispense this type for 50 cents.
The ones that don't have applicators are dry, and human being that your vaginal canal is smoothly moist like the human throat, you don't want to force anything dry up in that or it will not move.
It's like sticking a cotton orb in your throat and expecting to swallow it short water.
Unless you are an expert at inserting non applicator tampons close to the brand called O.B., use plastic applicator types.
