I started using the NuvaRing about 7 months ago and since afterwards i've been sense mild PMS symptoms (tiredness, loss of sex drive, really sore breasts, some cramps) in the middle of every cycle. In certainty, my boyfriend and I have have a couple of pregnancy scares because of it- i'm assuming it's because i'm ovulating since it's around that time within my cycle, but I never had any sort of PMS back I started using birth control besides maybe a few cramps, not even in the past my periods. Has this ever happen to anyone else? Is it normal for birth control to form you more sensitive to ovulation?

Answers:    actually, birth control prevents ovulation from occurring, that's how it prevents pregnancy, so i don't suppose your pain is coming from that. women take action differently to hormones in birth control; it could be that this is the road your body is reacting.
