Is it middle-of-the-road to be 4 months unsettled on your extent? what could be the basis of this? Off Birth Control since 5/07

Answers:    Among the top reasons for amenorrhea (I intuitively think it's funny that the word "amen" appears within it.. haha) are as follows:

Pregnancy
Anovulation
Menopause
Premature menopause
Hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction, including
-Exercise amenorrhoea, related to excessive physical exercise
-Stress amenorrhoea,
-Eating disorders and weight loss (obesity, anorexia nervosa, or bulimia)
Hyperprolactinemia (elevated prolactin levels)
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
Androgen producing tumor (i.e arrhenoblastoma)
Intrauterine adhesion (Asherman's Syndrome)
Thyroid dysfunction
Hemochromatosis
Drug-induced

From my research (been there!), it most habitually is decreased thyroid function or polycystic ovary syndrome.. or, you know.. pregnancy, but you've ruled that out.

I would distinctly go to a doctor, as the problems that can arise from amenorrhea are plenty.. Good luck, I hope it's nil too serious.

ps: If you'd "rather not go" to the gynecologist, than there's nil you can really do about it except guess.
Lots of things can explanation irregular periods; stress, extreme excersice and also extreme diets. I am equal as you, but i have never tried birth control. You involve to make sure you are consumption right. Maybe visit the doctors, they can prescribe pills for it and soon it regulates them. moral luck
