I u d? are they past the worst? do they really work? what going on for the impants underneath the skin?

was at the dr today have anual checkup, she told me that when i turn 35 in two yrs i will most expected have to walk off the pill because of a too illustrious risk of blood clots and heart attack and stroke! due to some medical conditions i have and combined next to with the certainty that the risks are higher for women who are 35 or elder! she was giving me alternatives to reckon about contained by the meantime! these are two she mentiond! and i was wondering if anyone out here is using them has used them? and do you resembling them? did you like them? did you own any probs with them?

Answers:    I have a IUD for many years Like 8 years and I loved it. You draw from and never have to cogitate about it for 10 years , and it is especially easy to pocket it out if you do end up wanting kids. I have no side effects actually within aren't any side effects with this and it is so much safer for you consequently the implant because that at hand is still medication with that. and the probability of getting Pregnant are much lesser consequently any other kind of birth control.
I uncooperatively recommend the IUD by far. Get that.
IUDs come in two ways: Copper or Hormonal. I'm kinda confused why the implant under the skin be recommended because that's a hormonal one too. In any event, I know IUDs are generally put contained by women who have have children because "the uterus generally doesn't similar to foreign objects [quote from my NP]". Secondly, my sister was conceived on an IUD.

I be never fond of the skin implants because if you don't approaching the drug, you're stuck with it. It's extraordinarily hard to bring out... kinda like the injections. I've have some bad reaction to BCP, so I'm paranoid about hormones remaining several months.

What about getting a diaphragm or cervical hat? I know a few women who cannot have hormonal birth control because it make them suicidal [yes, it is a rare side effect!!]. Try looking up balustrade methods of birth control.

I know the copper IUD is an option for a non-hormonal method. Some women don't approaching it because if they get pregnant and the IUD is still contained by place... it can be an emotionally insane situation because you risk losing the baby to bring it out and if you don't take it out you will lose the little one. Secondly, if your body doesn't like the IUD, it will reject it.

I hope this help!
well i enjoy mirena and i like it ive have it about 1 yr it have no copper in it so you can relax on that and i havent have a period contained by over 5 months so yeah its great it hurt a little when the dr put it surrounded by and i spotted but it was worth it im a mom of 3 and wasnt sure if i needed any moer or not so that was my choice and im protected from pregnancy for 4 more years.
