Side effects of the BCP Junel Fe?

I went on this birth control pill just about a year ago... my gyno calls it Microgestin but the packet say Junel Fe... since I've been on it I've be having these frequent yeast infections and about 2 months ago begin breaking out horribly on my face. I've never have acne like this until that time, even before I be on the pill, and it just won't be in motion away. I've tried to change a few times, but he keep telling me to stick it out. I have a really terrible psychological counterattack to Yasmin so the fact that this pill doesn't affect me emotionally is keeping my gynocologist sort of set on it. Is anyone else on this pill experiencing similar reaction? And what can I do about my skin while on the pill if a glowing diet and thorough cleaning does nothing?
