Ovarian cyst?
Answers: you need to train to run a larger-than-life. run it.. and then ask a give somebody the third degree.
During the surgery they put you to sleep, and when you wake up, you're fixed. :D painless. my friends be the size of a baseball. get it out!
Why are you on birth control when you are 13? if they remove one ovary simply you should be just fine for have children later on
don't be anxious, they do it with laser thru the navel much of the time in a minute
Since you're only 13, I outstandingly doubt they'll do surgery unless it's very considerable or could cause you other problems. I know someone who have some the size of lemons and they didn't make her do surgery. Instead she researched colloquial remedies. She's doing very economically!
Lots of women have them and don't even know it. It's markedly common.
Ovarian cysts may stir away after time anyway. I wouldn't start worrying about surgery until they report to you they're going to do it... but either mode you'll be well taken support of! Don't sweat it too much!
I had a friend who get ovarian cysts at 17. She had them removed and have had no problems or complications afterwards. She be back contained by school the subsequent day. (This be in 1995, she have had a son since, rebuke those saying terrifying stuff in their responses in the order of having ovaries removed. That entity had a completely different traffic than what you have.)
I am not a doctor, but this is a more or less common problem and procedure, so of late relax, you are gonna be fine.
I myself was freshly seen by the doc on Tuesday for the possibility of an ovarian cyst as powerfully. For routine they took my blood and did a pregnancy test basically to be safe. I am not pregnant. Two test show negative. They are going to do an ultrasound on me as ably as have me do another PAP.
Did you enjoy the ultrasound done?
You can ask your doc these questions and he/she can detail you.
1st of all the doctor said it could be cyst.linger to get the ultrasound examination 1st to confirm that that's what it actually is...after discuss your concerns with your doctor...if you do entail to have them removed the doctor should relate you what to expect...most surgeries put you under partial or entire during surgery so you obligation to get the right information from your doctor.you already have your tonsils out so you have some conception.good luck and ask the doctor. Hi in that! I had an ovarian cyst this summer, until that time I even started my first period. I be younger than you are now. I can confidently sympathize for you! It was so VERY prickly. They did an ultrasound and did a blood test and found I have one. My doctor did not put me on birth control, but I did take plentifully of ibuprofen. Yours should be better in two weeks.
You will most expected not have to enjoy surgery. Mine just "exploded" and I have to wait out the dull pain. I did not have to enjoy surgery, so I cannot tell you how that be. Just take seriously of ibuprofen to help the extra fluid inside of you.
Just relax, and wait to be tested for the cyst. I would lay down and study a movie. Remember that they are very adjectives, even if you are only 13. I be younger than that when I had mine, but the doctors didn't seem to be to be surprised. You will be fine, and I heard the surgery isn't adjectives that bad.
Good luck.
I'm going through equal thing at the moment. I have an ultrasound scan which showed a possible ovarian cyst but they weren't sure as the pictures weren't very clear (this be done outside on my tummy and they use a gel - you have to enjoy a full bladder to get a appropriate picture so would have to drink closely of water prior to your scan). Anway, I've in a minute got to walk and see the gyne and have a chat. At your age it might lately dissolve on its own - often they do, but if you hold to have it removed, it's an operation that's exceedingly common and if you hold a laproscopy (keyhole surgery) it will be an outpatients appointment and you will be home the same afternoon. You won't have any spasm but may feel a bit tender afterwards where on earth they have operate. If they do this, there will lone be a very tiny defect - hardly obvious and as you are so young, it would fade really quickly.
I hope everything go really well for you and will be thinking in the region of you. xx
