Answers: ovulation is when your body (ovaries) release an egg inside your falopian tube so it can await the sperm. If you are not having sex, you will not gain pregnant, then the egg dies and your body get rid of it by shedding the outer layer of your uterus and expelling the egg through menstration (your period).

It would take a few page to answer that fully so I am going to give you the breakneck version. Ovulation starts the first morning of a womens period. She ovulates(releases an egg for fertilization. And if the egg does bring back fertilized it will grow into a baby and the women will offer birth to a baby approx 9 months next. The ovaries produce ovules i.e. eggs. The process is called the ovulation. The eggs r released within the fallopian tube. If contacted by the male sperms, the eggs r fertilised.
