Answers: Birth control pills do not affect the neurotransmitters responsible for anxiety and frenzy attacks. Generally benzodiazepines are prescribed for this level of anxiety. This includes drugs such as xanax, or clonapin. If you are have panic attacks, jump see a doctor so they can help you!
I own panic disorder and whenever I would attain to the week of my period of for a moment before I would be so on periphery and having plentifully of anxiety and panic attacks. I talk to my gyno and talked to her roughly speaking getting on seasonal so I would only enjoy to have 4 period a year. I still get edgy around my extent, but I only hold to have it 4 times a year instead of 12! My pill made my anxiety worse. I eventually have to start taking other medication to control it.
I believe Yaz is used for women with PMDD, ask your doctor if it will work for you.
Stay away from the drugs. Trust me. I started have panic attacks almost 10 years ago. The Doc's give me different meds to try to "fix" this problem. They sent me to a shrink and a counselor. They put me on Effexor- the worst thing I've ever allowed to be done to me. (please read what other family are saying around this SSRI via the link below). They be all a moment ago band-aids for the problem. I will never take another SSRI as long as I live!! I spent hundreds of dollars on the Lucinda Basset tape for panic attacks- did nought for me- did tons of research and finally met a doctor who had a brain! She give me a saliva test for adrenal fatigue. Turns out nouns attacks are caused by persuaded deficiencies surrounded by the body such as low Epinephrine, high Cortisol, Doapamine, Serotonin. Tell your doctor to establish this test for you. It is the merely real agency to find out what's actually wrong so that they can fix it. I swear I surmise doctors must be taking kick back from the drug companies so they just hold us medicated instead of trying to fix the real problem and serve us.
