Everyones body react different to an IUD, it is going to give somebody a lift time for your body to adjust. I would say-so to grant it a week, or however long your length unanimously is (that's not to say-so you will stop bleeding). If after a week the cramps enjoy not disappeared next appointment your doctor for some reassurance.
Over time the cramps should lessen, probably after the first few days, and depending on the type of IUD the cramps may diminish completely.
Personally for me I did experience cramping the first few days and that be the worst of it. Since after I may own an occasional cramp i.e. minimal.
Good Luck
