Monthly odd smells right before period...?

about a week beforehand my time of year, my coochie smells funny...it form of smells similar to really strong coarse meat, not fishy (thats the best i can describe it). is this run of the mill? its annoying because i am ashamed to own sex next to my fiance. what could this be and how can i subdue the smell? i simply douche right after my extent and I know it's not a yeast infection becasue it is gone after my time is through. it happen every month around like peas in a pod time. This sounds resembling an infection call Bacterial Vaginosis. I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see what they suggest is going on.
